All About Christine
Christine is an amazing DP.
She came on board because our first DP, Nadine, picked up an assignment for the second weekend we were shooting back in May. Cai and I reviewed Nadine’s shots after the first weekend with Christine so she had a sense for framing & composition continuity.
“Great!” she said when we finished. “So what are we shooting next?”
And we were off.
Christine and I spent many long hours driving around NYC getting establishing shots, tooling around Brooklyn with Alec to shoot the intro sequence and, at the end, freezing our asses off on a rooftop in Carrol Gardens getting one final shot of the city. That was above and beyond our regular shot schedule — a green screen afternoon, a long night at a local restaurant … the list goes on. Throughout she brought fresh ideas to the table and worked with a boundless enthusiasm.
It was great to have her on the project, & I can’t wait to work with her again!
